Here is my idea of skills for a class of cruz (kinda) that wears Shields:

Shield Mastery [Passive] (Will of steel lv4, sword mastery lv3, Taunt Lv1)

Increse one handed sword damage, hit hate and def while holding a shield
Increse 5% dmg, 3 hit hate and 13 def in Lv1.
In max Level, add 2 to physical resistances.

Increase 1% dmg, 1 hit hate and 4 def per skill lv.

Lv 1: 5% DMG, 3 hit hate, 13 DEF
Lv 2: 6% DMG, 4 hit hate, 17 DEF
LV 3: 7% DMG, 5 hit hate, 21 DEF
LV 4: 8% DMG, 6 hit hate, 25 DEF
LV 5: 9% DMG, 7 hit hate, 29 DEF
LV 6: 10% DMG, 8 hit hate, 33 DEF
LV 7: 11% DMG, 9 hit hate, 37 DEF
LV 8: 12% DMG, 10 hit hate, 41 DEF
LV 9: 13% DMG, 11 hit hate, 45 DEF
LV 10: 14% DMG, 12 hit hate, 49 DEF, 2 PR



Hold the Ground [Active] (Shield mastery lv3)

Increase Def and Movement speed while holding a shield.
Also slightly increase dmg of Shield Bash per skill lv while activE.
Lasts for 130s, 120s cooldown. 40 SP

Increases 30 DEF and 15% movement speed at lv1. Increases 7 DEF and
1,5% MS per skill lv.

Lv 1: 30 DEF, 13% MS, 6%+dmg on Shield Bash.
Lv 2: 37 DEF, 14% MS, 6,5%+dmg on Shield Bash.
Lv 3: 44 DEF, 15% MS, 7%+dmg on Shield Bash.
Lv 4: 51 DEF, 16% MS, 7,5%+dmg on Shield Bash.
Lv 5: 58 DEF, 17% MS, 8%+dmg on Shield Bash.
Lv 6: 65 DEF, 18% MS, 8,5%+dmg on Shield Bash.
Lv 7: 72 DEF, 19% MS, 9%+dmg on Shield Bash.
Lv 8: 79 DEF, 20% MS, 9,5%+dmg on Shield Bash.
Lv 9: 86 DEF, 21% MS, 10%+dmg on Shield Bash.
Lv 10: 93 DEF, 22% MS, 10,5%+dmg on Shield Bash.



Shield Bash [Active] (Hold the Ground Lv5, Royal Strenght Lv1)

Strike an enemy with the wielding shield, dealing high dmg and stunning him
for a short period of time.
The dmg is highly increased by the shield stats, atk dmg and DEF. 11s cooldown. 35 SP
This skill deals a minimun dmg of 20% of its total dmg. The dmg of this skill
ignores 25% of the enemy defences.

Calculating DMG at lv1: 120% atk dmg+ (170% DEF + (shield DEF* Shield PR)*1), 1s of stun
Calculating DMG at lv2: 140% atk dmg+ (190% DEF + (shield DEF* Shield PR)*2), 1s of stun
Calculating DMG at lv3: 160% atk dmg+ (210% DEF + (shield DEF* Shield PR)*3), 2s of stun
Calculating DMG at lv4: 180% atk dmg+ (230% DEF + (shield DEF* Shield PR)*4), 2s of stun
Calculating DMG at lv5: 200% atk dmg+ (250% DEF + (shield DEF* Shield PR)*5), 3s of stun
Calculating DMG at lv6: 220% atk dmg+ (270% DEF + (shield DEF* Shield PR)*6), 3s of stun
Calculating DMG at lv7: 240% atk dmg+ (290% DEF + (shield DEF* Shield PR)*7), 4s of stun
Calculating DMG at lv8: 260% atk dmg+ (310% DEF + (shield DEF* Shield PR)*8), 4s of stun
Calculating DMG at lv9: 280% atk dmg+ (330% DEF + (shield DEF* Shield PR)*9), 5s of stun
Calculating DMG at lv10: 300% atk dmg+ (350% DEF + (shield DEF* Shield PR)*10), 5s of stun



Ground Slam [Active] (Hold the Ground lv 5)

Slams the equiped shield on the ground, dealing moderate AoE dmg
and taunting enemy monsters.
The DMG of this skill is based on the rough atk DMG. 5s Cooldown, 25 SP.

DMG calculation at Lv1: 220% ATK DMG
DMG calculation at Lv1: 240% ATK DMG
DMG calculation at Lv1: 260% ATK DMG
DMG calculation at Lv1: 280% ATK DMG
DMG calculation at Lv1: 300% ATK DMG
DMG calculation at Lv1: 320% ATK DMG
DMG calculation at Lv1: 340% ATK DMG
DMG calculation at Lv1: 360% ATK DMG
DMG calculation at Lv1: 380% ATK DMG
DMG calculation at Lv1: 400% ATK DMG



Royal Strenght [Passive] (Shield Mastery lv4)

While holding a shield, it improves your stability and total defenses on the battlefield.
This skill decreases the duration and effect of all types of seals, stuns, poisons
and slows inflicted on you. This skill also increase your HP regeneration and total defenses while standing.

Add 20% HP regeneration and 15% of stability in Lv1.Increase MAX DEF by 10% at lv1.
Increase 2% HP regeneration and 2% stability per skill lv.
Increase MAX DEF by 2% per skill lv.

Lv1: +10% MAX DEF, +20% HP regeneration, -15% of degenerative efects on you.
Lv2: +12% MAX DEF, +22% HP regeneration, -17% of degenerative efects on you.
Lv3: +14% MAX DEF, +24% HP regeneration, -19% of degenerative efects on you.
Lv4: +16% MAX DEF, +26% HP regeneration, -21% of degenerative efects on you.
Lv5: +18% MAX DEF, +28% HP regeneration, -23% of degenerative efects on you.
Lv6: +20% MAX DEF, +30% HP regeneration, -25% of degenerative efects on you.
Lv7: +22% MAX DEF, +32% HP regeneration, -27% of degenerative efects on you.
Lv8: +24% MAX DEF, +34% HP regeneration, -29% of degenerative efects on you.
Lv9: +26% MAX DEF, +36% HP regeneration, -31% of degenerative efects on you.
Lv10: +28% MAX DEF, +38% HP regeneration, -33% of degenerative efects on you.
 
Good idea, yet it would totally destroy the "Vanilla/Balanced" experience.

i guess it would not. The dmg formulas are pretty much balanced. And the weakness of the class is easy to see, the lack of health.

Take a look at it: The max dmg of a 700 dmg, 350 def~ char, wearing a wyrm shield with "Shield Bash" skill prototype is 8033 total, and the min would be 1606. That is low as fuck.
 
Just cruz? were is other classes?
I just had time to think about a cruzader based tank class. You could call it "Paladin" or "Templar". Feel free to show up other Classes prototypes or to add new skills to my class idea.
