Is it okay to not build towards slasher (champ)?

Every champ I see is building towards con-slasher. I want to go con+str instead of con+agi, was wondering if anyone else has gone end-game con+str. What are the adv/dis? Any build recommendations (for Lv60+)? I'm not big on pvp

I wouldn't say "bad" but I would say there are many other things being more useful.

Not what's happening here at all. The focus is tool-tip and itself being informative and source of knowledge, not "balance game"
