PKO equipment guide for all class (May 2024 Ver)

Previously I’ve made two equipment guides around 2020 and updated in 2021. However, due to the stats change of unseal items and introduction of uns 85, many information become outdated. This version covers equips choice, gemming choice, and some brief words on builds under current PKO environment. Hope it’ll help your PKO journey! Abbreviations: In this guide, you’ll see a lot of common abbreviations to keep the sections concise. If you’re new to the game and not sure what they mean, you might find this section helpful. There’re also links to some official guide pages. Otherwise, you can skip this section

• Chest equip: means equips from inca/eva/enigma class chests. Those chests are farmed in Forsaken city, Darks Swamp and Demonic World and are quite easy to find from players or on stalls. They’re decent options for early game choice.
• Uns: means unsealed lv45/55/65 equipment. They’re made from materials farmed in Forsaken city, Darks Swamp and Demonic World. You can make one on your own or buy one from other players
• CA: means Chaos Argent Equips. Usually kept by High level guild banks upon attending CA, you can also easily find them on market.
• DE: stands for Death Equips. There’re Death weapons and death torsos. Those are farmed by high level guilds in abba and mirages. You can talk to high level guild leaders to see how you can acquire one, or buy one from others.
• BD/RF: stands for Black Dragon Equips/Rightful BD equips. There’re normal BD items that’re made from BD altar and BD gems, and 4cp rightful BD items (usually written as RF) that drops from the last boss of Abba:Kara. You can talk to high level guild leaders to see how you can acquire one, or buy one from others. *Full unfused set of BD equips give each class a special effect (you can mix & match normal/RF BD items)
• Uns85: the newest released set of weapons and rings. Those are farmed by high level guilds in Aurora and Dark Areas, and are the best weapons and rings available. Rings offers extra stats other than what’s shown on its own stats when you’re using death torso. Given the class rings require DE torso for boost, BD set builds becomes less and less popular now.

*Note that DE and Uns85 are not yet released in NP server as of May 2024. They're only available in PR server. If you're playing NP, you can ignore those for now and wait till they release.


-Crusader

• Popular Builds:
  • Str/Agi: the most common build. At lv90 you’ll have 100str70agi base. It’s for sure the best build for PvE. For PK it’s also valid, but you’ll be a bit squishy in PK and need heavy pots and skilled moves to fully show your power.
  • Str/Con: PvP focused build. You’ll have 100 base str, then, make sure you have 210 aspd passive and put as few agi as possible, and the rest to con. Your dps will be lower for PvE, and your dodge will be an issue in some places, but you can survive better in PKs.
• Sword: unseal swords -> Agi DE -> uns 85
  • Gems: UG Rage + BD eye. (*Some crus prefer UG Rage + Lust for better hit rate)
• Gloves: chest gloves -> hermes claw-> RF claw
  • Gems: Lust + BD heart
• Armor: unseal armors/hermes frame or CA frame (CA frame for better max, unseals for better dodge) -> BD torso or RF torso (BD torso for better PR, RF torso for better max ) -> Death torso
  • Gems: UG Colo + BD soul. (*Sharks can be used in some cases)
• Boots: CA paw -> BD Wing (*can skip) -> rightful BD wing. *If you lack dodge, you can prepare a pair of Secret Boots
  • Gems: UG Wind + BD heart. If you prepare secret boots as back up, you can use UG/Chipped Wind + Shadow on them.
• Neck and Rings: Str/Agi or Str/Con neck and rings. Uns85 rings are great if you’re lv90 and more than UG4/BD2
• Pets: Str and Agi pet. FoE Agi for leveling
• Alternative Builds: Str/Acc for hit rate lovers. High Str Drakan and Lust will be your friend

-Champion

• Popular Builds:
  • 69 agi con-slasher: for this build you need 69 agi counting gems and equips. You’ll have 140aspd passive. With lv10 berserk and lv10 attack buff you’ll hit 210 aspd to maximize your illusion slash damage. You can then go 100 base con and add the rest stats to str
• Sword: unseal swords -> DE weapon (either) -> uns 85
  • Gems: UG Rage + BD eye *You can use UG Rage + lust when your budget is low
• Shield: You can keep a shield, but keep in mind Bloodbull will be deactivated
• Gloves: chest gloves -> Hephaestus Claw -> RF Claw
  • Gems: Lust + BD heart (*Some players like to do Lust+UG strike for more hit rate)
• Armor: uns tattoos -> Hephaestus frame -> DE torso. *Champion’s class equips are good enough and you can forget about BD equips
  • Gems: UG Colo + BD Soul
• Boots: CA paw -> BD Wing (*can skip) -> rightful BD wing
  • Gems: UG Wind + BD heart.
• Neck and Rings: You can have two sets of rings, one gives more str and one gives more con. Neck you can use any with str/agi/con, but str/con is preferred. Uns 85 ring is great for you and worth getting once you’re there.
• Pets: Str and Con pet. FoE Agi for leveling. If you have spare fund, you can get an Agi pet also if you want
• Alternative builds:
  • 84 agi con-slasher build: Some champions prefer 84 agi build than 69 agi build so they can still reach 210 aspd for max slash when cursed by enemy seal masters. They can also reach 210 aspd easier in CA after buff expires.
  • Str/Agi build: great for leveling. You’re basically a crus with higher max and lower aspd. If you solo level a lot, you can choose this build to level up first, then reset/rebirth to con-slashers
  • Dual sword with shield build: Some champions like for this build so they sacrifice some def and hp for higher max. You’ll need dual lv85 sealed spikes (yes, sealed ones are good enough), a back-up shield and a back-up greatsword. This build will be very expensive since you’ll gem up a lot of pieces.

-Sharpshooter

• Popular builds:
  • Bow/Gun Hybrid: you need close to lv90 to finish this build. With this build you can use Bow to cast damage skills and gun to cast seals. 100Acc/70agi base recommended. Adding con doesn’t worth it for majority of SS
• Gun: Unseal guns -> Agi DE Gun -> Uns 85 Gun (*lv50 rifle with 7acc7agi(7con) was a popular option in the past since it has no aspd reduction, but with unseal guns upgraded, it’s becoming less attractive)
  • Gems: UG Strike + BD eye. Explosive can be used in early stage
• Bow: Unseal bows -> Acc DE Bow -> Uns 85 Bow
  • Gems: UG Strike + BD eye. Furious can be used in early stage
• Gloves: Chest gloves/High Acc gloves -> Apollo Claw -> RF Claw *Some players prefer ultra-high Acc apollo gloves (20+ Acc)
  • Gems: UG Strike + BD Heart
• Armor: uns armor/CA frame -> BD torso/RF torso -> DE armor
  • Gems: Shark + BD Soul
• Boots: CA paw -> BD Wing (*can skip) -> rightful BD wing
  • Gems: UG Wind + BD heart.
• Neck and Rings: Acc/Agi neck and rings. Lv85 unseal rings are great for SS
• Pets: Acc Pet and FoE Acc. You can have and Agi Pet as back up if funds sufficient
• Alternative builds:
  • BD Set Headshot SS: With full unfused BD set and lv10 Headshot and seals, SS has a 10% chance to kill a char up to 25k hp. Some SS choose to go for this build. If this SS is an alt, you can also go for full con for better survive. In CA, this build can be quite annoying to your enemy

-Seal Master

• Popular Builds:
  • Full Con SM: You need to play with skill builds a bit due to the lack of skill points, but for stats, full con is your safest option.
• Staff: Unseal Staffs -> Con DE Staff -> uns 85 staff (*uns85 is SM’s only option with HP% boost thus strongly recommended. You should get one once you can afford)
  • Gems: UG/Chipped/Cracked Soul + Spr Gem
• Gloves: High Con gloves or RF Claw
  • Gems: BD Heart
• Armor: Unseal Armors/CA Frame -> Athena Frame -> BD Torso (*can skip) -> DE Torso
  • Gems: UG Colo + BD Soul
• Boots: CA paw -> BD Wing (*can skip) -> rightful BD wing
  • Gems: Spr Gem + BD heart.
• Neck and Rings: Con/Spr neck and rings. For lower budget builds you can use Con/Agi or Con/Acc items. SM’s 85 ring isn’t that attractive and would have lower priority than staff.
• Pets: Con Pet and FoE any stats (but preferably FoE Spr so you can heal your plvler)
• Alternative builds:
  • Battle SM: SM with Max bolt and intense magic build with full spr stats. This build isn’t very popular because you won’t have enough stats for SM specific skills. Also, you’ll be very squishy.

-Cleric

• Popular Builds:
  • Full Spr: The one and only build
• Staff: Unseal Staffs -> Spr DE Staff -> uns 85 staff (*uns85 for Cleric isn’t a significant upgrade compare to Spr DE. You may skip if you want)
  • Gems: UG Soul + Spr Gem
• Gloves: High Spr gloves
  • Gems: No Gems needed. BD heart doesn’t really do much for Cleric
• Armor: Unseal Armors/CA Frame -> Hestia Frame -> DE Torso
  • Gems: Feng’s + BD Soul
• Boots: CA paw -> BD Wing (*can skip) -> rightful BD wing
  • Gems: Spr Gem
• Neck and Rings: Spr/Con neck and rings. For lower budget builds you can use Spr/Agi, Spr/Str or Spr/Acc items. Cleric’s 85 ring is ok and has higher priority compare to uns 85 staff
• Pets: Spr Pet and FoE Spr
• Alternative builds:
• Full BD set cleric: With full set unfused BD equips, Clerics has 50% chance taking 50% damage with Energy Shield. However, with release of lv85 ring and its requirement of DE torso to activate, BD set cleric is becoming less favorable, but still valid.

-Voyager

• Popular Builds:
  • Vibrant Full Con: add spr to around 50 base, then full con, then back to spr after con is maxed. This build gives you decent spr to level up, while later on when mobs become tankier and you taking part of PKs, you have more con. It’s the most versatile Voy build
  • Traditional Full Con: 100 base con then spr. With this build you’ll be very tanky and favorable for pk, but not ideal for farming and leveling
• Dagger: Unseal Daggers/Blade of Torment (12spr or 7con5spr)-> Blade of Torment (7con12spr)-> Con DE Dagger -> Uns 85 Dagger
  • Gem: UG Soul + Spr Gem
• Gloves: Chest gloves -> lv70/75 gloves with 9 or more con/spr stats
  • Gem: BD Heart
• Armor: Unseal Armors/CA Frame -> Poseidon Frame -> BD torso (*can skip) -> DE torso (*In the past, Tsunami Robe/Dragon Lord Robe with 34+PR was a popular option, but it’s becoming less attractive now as unseals/Poseidon and DE armors are updated. It’s still a valid option of you find one with ultra-high Con/Spr bonus and loves PR)
  • Gem: UG Colo + BD Soul
• Boots: CA paw -> BD Wing (*can skip) -> rightful BD wing
  • Gems: Spr Gem + BD heart.
• Neck and Ring: You’ll need movespeed corals as neck, and one ring slot will be taken by thunder coral with stats (lv70 and lv80 thunder coral have con version and spr version, get both if possible). The other ring you can use Con/Spr or Spr/Con ring. Later on, that slot will go to lv85 class ring, which is a great ring.
• Pets: Con pet and FoE Spr. Later on, get a Spr pet as well.
• Alternative Builds:
  • Full Spr: 100 base spr then con. With this build you’ll have a very good damage, but you’ll be quite squishy. I don’t recommend this build unless you have very good budget to heavily gem the char and use heavy pots in all PKs. Some players will use full unfused BD set for this build to maximize bolt damage
  • Agi Voy: Not really a valid build, but one of the PKO legend (Vulpy) loves it. Don’t try it

Update: As of April 2025, NP server has opened abba and thus Death weapons will be available and can be considered. Once mirage bosses are enabled, Death torsos can also be acquired on NP.
