What's the cheapest class to play for a new player?

So I just started on this server and was wondering which class is the cheapest to fund and play? I used to play TOP 1 around 10 years ago, but I now have no idea how to make money outside of farming fortune tree, selling BP/Pure water/NSS/Hexa items. I currently have a Level 41 Pure SPR Voy (bad choice I know - should have gone hybrid/full con) and a Swordsman and Herbalist under 30.

I was thinking of maybe getting into FC and later DS and try get at least a bit of money from there, even though there's probably alot of strong players farming too. Which class would be a good choice for me in FC/DS? I've heard Battle Clerics are quite good and they're maybe not as expensive as Crus/SS. I'll also be playing with my brother, so which two classes are a strong combination?

Last question I have is - are Champions good? What are they usually good at except tanking monsters? I really like the playstyle and aesthetic but I think I might be useless and weak if I don't have money to buy gems on a tank.

Any advice on picking a class or making money as a new player would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't worry about "cheapest" sense, it's better to build few characters that's set out for different purpose. Like you said, if you build a voyager you can power-level your own characters, and use the same voyager to farm many precious things.

Champions aint that expensive in general, if you compared it to a crus, since you'll only need 1 wep, which in that matter aint that expensive, con and str pets can be however, but thats all up to as how you wanna play it and/or ur budget holds u

Forgot about money from DS and FC because its pvp mazes. cheapest class for new player probably voy. Champion - its just meat till 75 lvl - NO dmg NO def. if u want play as champ better start another class first and switch later. better chose voy and make con pet or crus and make str pet.
must have for champion is 75 lvl because colossus sword 75 than 70 claw , 70 frame 110 +1-2 lv colo (3 lv crack) ca paw (1-2 lv wind) 2 pets 41 lv con and str. its not so expensive in the end.

cleric is cheapest class to be useful.U make cleric with CA gear without any gems and u can actually be decent.U can tank slash,U can do decent dmg,u can heal and revive,ts. Champion and crusaders without gems are most useless class out there.Another useful class without investing much is seal master.Voyager is great for farming ( both sea and land ).SS can be useful even without much geming for his seals,but u will be 1 shotted. For ds cheapest and most efficient combo is 2 clerics xD.Cleric and SS is also not bad.Champion is usless unless u have at least lvl 2-3 UGS.
