He thinks he got banned because he tried to help me find certain people who target game mallers and take advantage of them. There was no warning whatsoever. He was immediately suspended and he does not know when he will be able to log. Shouldn't the game masters tell him how long and what for at least? As someone who played video games for years, he should even be able to contact "Support" and get help even when he's banned, especially if he's a maller himself and paid you a lot of money. Tales of Pirates was way better in terms of account rules and security. Why does PKO have to be very dismissive and shady like this?

I don't know who is your friend.

But I will make this public information: Banhammer is for botters, banhammer is permanent and will be not removed.

As for your comments and feedback, thanks for sharing your opinion, I'm really sorry it's very hard to get players to read our game policy as well privacy policy even though when users sign up, they are asked very clearly if they have read the whole policies in whole and completely understand as well agreeing to them (a check box is initiated). So why are players not reading the policy and then agreeing to it is completely dismissive to me unfortunately.

he should even be able to contact "Support"
By the way, everybody, banned, guests, members, staffs, and everybody can contact PKO team by clicking on the "contact us" link at the bottom, but be warned, you will not receive any reply, instead it can be used in extreme cases for very unlikely mistaken cases, but banhammer is 99.99% never mistaken however.

The messages sent by contact us do get read and we always try to do the right thing, so if a critical information got revealed, then in that case a change can be made, but botters, on other hand is very very prudent when it comes to mistaking as every botter is always and I meant ALWAYS verified by GM, you will see this act in accordance with many players asking why we don't just ban botters when they simply submit screenshots or even videos, it's because players submissions are always invalid! Thank you.

I'm extremely disappointed to hear this. My friend was innocent. He lost everything he has for only trying to help. I even gave him my pet to use and now you're saying it's gone? Permanently? Can I share his info to you in private? Can you talk to him and help him? You should have at least investigated the issue, or give him a warning before a permanent ban. This is not fair at all. If you can't do anything about this, I am quitting myself.

Again, I am here speaking of general policy, we do not discuss on people's bans nor I know who is your friend for matter;

You speak of "fairness" where is the fairness when one engulf the advantage of botting? How dare anybody decide to be mischief and bot, then instead of being dealt, you expect the whole server to be polite and let a botter have warning, and maybe more warning before ban strikes? Multiplied by two-digits of botters we ban everyday, the game's market would crash and gone insane. Above of all, it is GAME POLICY from beginning:

It is so incredibly important that it is not literally but actually the FIRST rule we have:

Categories of prohibited activities
Cheating
Botting
A character is botting when it's operator (owner) is not controlling or performing the executions in real time. Botting is not only limited to third party or packet editors, but also actions that exhibits performance impossibly done if operator is not signaling or paying attention to character. Your character and account are always accountable, irregardless if your account was accessed by someone else, including unauthorized login. Some of (but not limited to) botting examples includes: Auto Hot Key or similar macro-script, Mouse-Click repeater, placing object on keyboard or mouse or mouse/keyboard actions done by external such as mechanic machine that repeates clicks, network packet modifications to re-send packets or recording packets to replay actions.

There is very fine line of between botting and playing, in general if players are concerned about becoming victim of botting policy violation, they should not perform or bot-first then ask-questions, but rather, verify first. Frequently, if you are not sure such action deem botting, it is most likely botting. With exceptions to auto-cast and auto-attack, both which, are integral and sponsored by game. They are not botting as they have timer limitations and cannot be carelessly left. It is not against the rules to be non-responsive when you are logged in your character, and being non-responsive during auto-cast/attack is not illegal, as they would expire itself but if you are resuming auto-attack/casting even after expiration occur and deem non-responsive in between two periods, then otherwise you would be botting. Your character may perform actions such as wood-chopping indefinitely without being mandated to be responsive, however be mindful if your character is moving, changing target, or entering/exiting game whilst being non-responsive means you are botting.

In case of botting, if the system fails to challenge and/or remove botter, GM(GameMaster) may step in and intervene, including but not limited to diagnose and perform challenge to verify legitimacy. Exact conditions or challenges performed are not disclosed to protect and ensure challenge remains authenticity. Players who deem to be botter should perform the captacha challenge presented by system otherwise you risk yourself and your accounts/characters to investigation.

Disciplinary Guideline
Minor Infraction
First Offense
Second Offense
Third Offense
Major Infraction
A major infraction occures when a activity has already damaged or to-be damaged server's welfare. Staffs at this point will take every necessary proprietary actions against to player or players. Major infractions are events where players' action creates illegal disruptive or upset other players experience. In order to protect server's welfare, Staffs may temporarily or permanently disable access to characters, game accounts, and forum account.

Thank you for your concerns, once again, I'm sorry you had to keep throwing the word "maller", even admitted to item sharing (which ironically we have policy onto about that but I will not get to that here), bottom line it seems you and your "friend" has been very negligent to game policy, and without game policy what we have would've been not today if it wasn't for game policy, but pure utter out of control and unfairness.

By the way, banned guests cannot contact you. He tried clicking on "Contact Us" several times but it does not work for him. Nothing works. You might as well remove his account.

Thanks for notifying us, this will be fixed in the next forum version, it seems our hardcode of allowing banned users to use contact has disappeared in version control.
