I used to playu this game circa 2008-2010 with another little bump around 2012. The game seemed to get very P2W with "kylin set" iirc and they did some massive server merges. Anywho, what's the "end game" now. PVP, PVE? are Cruz still the OP when they're optimized (#210 AS). Any tips for starting from scratch? Is it still possible to run 2-3 clients and essentially constantly have your own party for buffs, a tank, and damage dealing? Sorry I'm asking a lot but i'm hyped to jump on the TOP PKO train again.

Hey, yeah. It's still very p2w, and most players are players that played long ago as well. It's a great community, but like any real communities it has its flaws. As far as the crusader stuff and the clients, yeah, pretty much the same. Just make sure you ask a gm before doing anything that might constitute a breach of the ToS. Still pretty new myself.
