What measures are there to stop people from using bot's or abusing some loop hole that gives them an unfair advantage over others?

one way could be to remove auto pick up function.
Anti-bot programmes with complex commands? i.e if someone has been looting and not moving for more than 2hours his name is flagged and investigated? XD

any other ideas?

In such a Hardcore server botters will rule the game :O

I think stuff should stay like they were in PKO, not like you can bot much stuff like in foxlv, since voyagers coral is limited. But yeh anti-bot programs are neccesay.

I am not sure i like how it sounds.. Bots are extremely effective ways to make money/nss on low rate servers, and unless you can find a good way to stop it, it will kinda ruin the game. Cause if at least one person have bots, then everyone should actually do it, otherwise it is just unfair. So either make bots legal, so it will become a competition who have stronger pc and how much instances he can run, or find a way to fix it =D

but it is very known... just take a look at your old game foxlv? people reported many botters and nothing was done. Only after a year there was some bans which completely destroyed the game.

This should be done at the start of the server, if you decide to do it later on it will just widen the gap between the very first abusers and new players. (This can demotivate people to carry on playing, or even start the game.)

Both gues. It the same really, you do nothing and get loot.

Easy way to fix it that ToP already had actually = in game captcha. Annoying but it works right?

I also would like to know answer on this question, because botting can straight up ruin server economy. You know how much of advantage botting at smugglers gives? It's sick on vanilla server. Stack of NSS for free in a day. Not even talking about full inventorys of fake documentations.. In meantime.. Auto-skilling is implemented in game and idk if it should be changed, that's just how game is made. And it's very useful for example - in sea battles. I'd say just ban people who are using 3rd party programs to bot. Nothing you can do with people auto-skilling magma bullet or howl tho. Captcha is an option tho. Or just make auto-skilling stop auto-skilling after 5mins or something ( if that's possible ofc).

And no, it's not something that's unknown People will bot, believe me. Please take care of that before server opening, or we might have a bad time.. Even a guy who will be able to bot for 1day or even 10hours will have HUGE advantage compared to others.

2/3 of whole money on server will be from botting if it won't be fixed actually. And i just heard that captcha actually not perfect either, my friend told me that there was a tool to surpass it.

auto-howl is not a resource provided by ToP. you need to use external ways to make it happen.

It will be no problem at all. Full Spr SS will be able to tank smugglers at lv40 and never run out of SP.

I used to auto-atk with ship as voy. With champ tank at the ground. Maybe lowering the timeout of auto atk will help?or off auto atk

You guys keep forgetting that restricting Auto-attacks is an alteration to the original game. So we shouldn't alter it, but just prohibit use of external programs.

Yep. That's what I proposed. However, noone can deny that auto-magma is super abusable, even though it's made like that from the scratch. As I mentioned before, maybe there is a way to make ''auto-attack'' and ''auto-skills'' work for short duration of time only? Like 3-5mins? Then they would cancel action? Would that be possible and what do you say about this idea? @Zankza
