Introduction
Hello, I am MasterDrive (Xolityx in PKO) and I would like to share the most efficient way to level up to level 75 as a voyager. This guide is not necessarily made for Pirate King Online as I have yet to reach level 75 in the PKO. My highest level was 82 in the TOP2, I managed to reach it few days before the sad news. The guide in itself will be including my past experience as a Voyager and the most efficient way to level up including my personal experience and many guides that I have read on the TOP2 forum when it was still online. This guide only has an Ami voyager in mind. Everything else is worse of, just because of the headwear and also she is damn cute.

1. Generic explanation about this guide and general voyager information.
1.1 My build
In my opinion, the best build and the build I am currently using is the hybrid voyager but not with a 2:1 ratio. I put every point of SPR until I have 46 base SPR. With that, every monster until level 41 can be killed with a single lightning bolt bar Rookie Boxeroo. Afterwards, I put everything in CON. CON is not needed before level 41 because the mobs cannot kill you if you use the lightning bolt correctly. After reaching 46 SPR, I put everything in CON, nothing else. I use gems and EQ to give me extra SPR, I also use a CON fairy. At the time of writing it, I have 46 points of base CON and SPR but with EQ and fairy, I managed to reach 70 SPR and 94 CON. Which is pretty respectable for a level 59 voyager.
1.2 Benchmarks
Before we start I would like to provide a few benchmarks so you can decide if this guide actually does have some merit to it. The benchmarks are straight forward. I start the timer as soon as I start levelling at level 10. Promotions are not included it is all about levelling and nothing else.
1.2.1 Levels 10-41 – 8-10 hours max. Depends if you are using AMPS. The longest part is levelling between levels 31 and 40(around 4 hours without amps). I would highly advise against using mini amps until level 31. Just stock them. Using them at lower levels where you get between 1% to 5% for each monster does not make it fast enough to be viable. Just depletes your resources unnecessarily.
1.2.2 Levels 41-48 – Took me around 6 hours without any amps. It can take longer depending on the build you choose. Those will be explained later in the guide.
1.2.3 Levels 48-62 – 1 hour per level.
Those levels are initially very hard and very slow because you can't kill a lot of mobs at the same time. If you have a second account make a herbalist with Harden at max level. Level 30 herbalist with level 10 harden gives you around 70 to 75 defence. I managed to drop the time to 30 min a level but I have been using AMPs and NANA’s and an hour a level is much more reasonable in most cases without amps.
1.2.4 Levels 62 and beyond
At this point, I cannot provide benchmarks because I do not have them anymore. Too much time has passed for me to remember how long it took to get to level 75 but I know it took me around a week with high amps and nanas without any assistance. I cannot say how long each session lasted. If there is anyone in here who recently levelled up to 75 and can provide some insight then please comment.
1.3 Hexathlon
If there is a Hexathlon going on then use it if you can. This does greatly reduce the time especially until level 60. Afterwards, it is viable(not a lot of exp earned) but can be annoying because of the amount of cash that you have to pay for candies and time spent foraging, it is better to spend the time grinding. It’s basically free and will give you the same amount of exp in the end. Therefore saving you a lot of money. It is, after all, 100k to 150k for each run. It does not sound as much but if you can manage to do 11-12 runs for each 30min session it can be draining if it is your first character in PKO. If not or you have saved a lot of cash then, by all means, you should do it. It is smarter to spend those few millions to get a CA frame instead of buying candies.
1.4 Builds
1.4.1 SPR voyager – not recommended
In theory it very easy voyager to level up but that is not true if you are going for higher level mobs. From level 48 onwards you either have to have a champ who will tank the mobs or use so many cakes that you will break your bank and also you will need a high-level CON fairy to level up at a nice pace.
Pros:
1.4.2 Hybrid voyager - recommended
One of the most if not the most used builds in TOP2. It gives a good mix of fast levelling and defence. It is a solid build with a good balance of attack and defence. The ratio is 2 SPR to 1 CON.
Pros:
1.4.3 Personal take on the hybrid voyager – recommended
This style of a voyager is what you would have achieved if you made a CON voyager after rebirth, this is also the reason I made it like that. At level 75 after I finally achieved my rebirth I put everything in CON and put leftover points in SPR. The DMG was ok but the best part was that I only took between 15 to 100 dmg from the mobs. I could stand in the middle of a group of mobs for quite some time without caring. Also with max con and good EQ, you will very easily reach 7k hp even without any gems (5k HP just from the max CON). That made me try and experiment with CON and SPR voyager to reach a much better ratio than the 2:1 used most often by a hybrid voyager.
There is no ratio in this build. It solely exists to get to the 46 base SPR needed to one shot Miner moles in the Abandoned mine. Afterwards, every single point is spent in the CON. At level 60 you will have 46 base SPR and 52 base CON. That in itself is around 3k HP and 45 def. Which is just as much as an SPR voyager with chest of evanescence eq.
Pros:
1.4.4 CON voyager
It is the exact opposite of the SPR voyager. The pros become the cons and the other way around. Also, it becomes very costly to maintain at lower levels. The amount of corals used is just too much to be able to pay without 3rd party assistance.
1.5 Skills
The skills mentioned here are for up to level 45. Anything beyond is your own choice. You should be able to make your own decision at this point. Also, Tornado should not be bought before level 45 if you are not going into the mazes as it is useless for levelling. In roughly the same time you cast tornado you can do the basic conch>lightning bolt>conch combo. Conch animation can cancel the last stages of lightning bolt animation if done correctly. It is easy to discover what the timing is after you have done it a few times. Also the reason there is no reason to spend points on tornado if you are not going to pvp is because it is a single target skill and makes no sense to use when from level 41 onward you will mostly fight groups of mobs.
If a skill is not mentioned do not buy the skill before 45 if you dont have specific use case for it.

2. Pets
Pets are a subjective choice on what your build is. For an SPR voyager, you must take a CON fairy. The exact opposite for a CON voyager.
Hybrid voyager is where it becomes more difficult of a choice. You could go for an SPR fairy and deal a lot of dmg(easily 2.5k at level 60 with a level 30 fairy). Or you could go for a CON fairy and have the easiest time levelling because you will be almost unkillable by any mobs mentioned in this guide. Allowing you to take on many groups of mobs instead of just a few. Isle of chill and fortune is where CON fairy really starts to shine. You can run around with a CON fairy only taking 15 dmg at a time and killing everything in sight without a stopping(great for amps at the Isle of chill and fortune). It is in the end of personal preference and your own playstyle.
3. Levelling
3.1 Good reading material
Luisa made a very good guide for levelling, I highly recommend reading it as well(link below). This guide is made purely for efficiency and being cost effective while her guide focuses on jumping to different locations for the most exp points. Making it in some cases time-consuming because of the sheer amount of running around to get the best possible mobs for just 2 to 4 levels. Never the less it is a very good guide and you should read it as well.
https://piratekings.online/threads/leveling-guide-for-voys-from-lvl-1-to-70-luisas-style.116/
3.2 My path
My path does not equal the very fastest ways at some levels. For me, the most important path was to be as efficient and cost-effective as possible. Levels below level 10 are not included because you just run outside of argent and start killing anything in sight or use lucky packets. You only need 10 to 15 packets to reach level 10. Most of the time they only cost 99G so they are easy to get even at the lowest levels.
Tip: sell everything that you got at first, find the cheapest packets and buy 1 and you will be level 5 instantly. Open the chest and you have better eq and can start utilizing it without loss in cash. Don’t forget to take the promotion quest at level 9. It will take some time and you may just as well also level up a bit while you are at it!
Now before you start, open the https://piratekings.online/database/monster/ website and search for mobs I will be mentioning here. I will not be including any directions. There is a great database that includes those already. Would be pit full to not use while devs did such a good job making it.
Also, do not forget to buy a level 0 fairy and start levelling it up. By the time you reach level 60, it will only be level 8/10. So you must leave the account online by using the stall than exiting the game. Check on it every 3 hours. Also, get the start of unity for the dagger.
3.2.1 Levels 10 to 41
Levels 10 to 12: Bear cubs. Do not forget to buy the lightning bolt and have it in your inventory. Don’t level diligence above 1 for now. If you want to make some cash early on stay at cubs until level 16.
Levels 12 to 16: Whacky lamb. At level 12 you can one-shot them with the lightning bolt. And the Bear cub spawn is right next to it so you don’t have to travel a lot.
Levels 16 to 18: Bandit or Smuggler depends if you want to earn some extra cash. Smugglers will also give you extra exp so you can level on them until level 21 if you want. Does make this process slightly longer but a stack of fake documentation is worth around 10k. Very good money making at very low levels.
Levels 18 to 21: Rookie Boxeroo. If you decide to go to Andes Forrest haven and kill bandits than after you reach level 18 go to kill Rookie Boxeroo. It is not an efficient way because you have to use the Lighting bolt twice.
Levels 21 to 29: Mad boar. Second good money making option because of the NSS drops. NSS can easily bring 15-25k each, depends on luck though.
Levels 29 to 41: Abandoned mine. Ninja moles and Miner moles. I have yet to find a better way than this to level up. It takes time, around 4 hours in total. Use mini amps if you still have them. Levelling to level 35 will go in a flash. Takes around 1 hour. The last levels are worse and generally take 3 hours. With bad luck, it can be as long as 6 hours. It is also a very popular party levelling spot after all.
Total: 8 hours. Possibly 10 with bad luck.
3.2.2 Levels 41 to 48
If you are an SPR voyager than go to the Silvermine 2 and kill Pumpkin Knight.
If you are anything else go to Chaldea haven and kill Treant.
Both make a good amount of cash but SPR voyager is not able to tank group of Treants, making them a nightmare to kill as an SPR voyager.
Total time spent: 2-4 hours.
3.2.3 Levels 48 to 62. Use amps from this point forward.
The best way I found is to go to the Isle of Chill until level 62. Any build can kill quite a few of them sit down and repeat. There are even a few spots to hide as an SPR voyager. At first, it will take a lot of time to level up because your defence is not high enough. It is recommended to make a second account with herbalist on it with harden maxed out.
The reason that I don’t go to fortune is that the only voyager that is able to level up there without any help at level 59 is the CON voyager. The EXP difference is 1k but at the Isle of Chill, you can just run around and kill every mob in sight while at the Isle of fortune you can kill max of 2 groups of mobs at a time.
Northern Pirate sailor gives 2965 exp points while the Beardy pirate sailor at fortune give 4170. At level 59, I can run and kill the whole island before going back to the safe zone and sit down to restore my SP. At fortune, with the same level, I am only able to take 1/2 groups of 4 before I have to sit down. No HP left in the tank. I only need to take 2 groups of 4/5 at Isle of chill for the same amount of exp as 1 group at Fortune. Killing is much faster than sitting down and waiting for HP to replenish. At level 59 you can continuously kill the mobs at the Isle of chill without taking a break (That is if you have standard recovery and meditation). At fortune, the max is 2 groups of 4 with a lot of luck or being a CON voyager.
3.2.4 Levels 62 to 70
Isle of fortune. Now that you are able to kill more groups of mobs than before(hopefully). It is time to switch to the isle of fortune. This one takes a lot of time and I mean it. The first time around it took me around a week with a lot of playtime. At this time it seems it is also the only good option to level 75 because as far as I have read Pirate King Online does not have the Shaitan mirage open.
3.2.5 Levels 70 to 80(optional)
The best way would be to go to Summer island and start grinding. It does require very good EQ though to level up alone. If you can get a party than do that if not then you will have to spend big bucks for the best EQ you can get your hand on.
4. EQ
4.1 Until level 55.
Use the chest until you get the level 40 eq. At 45 buy few Inca chests and use the eq in there. Do not gem or modify those. It is a waste of money if you do.
4.2 Levels 55 to 75
As soon as you can get the CA set. I would advise you to heavily gem it because it will be needed later on. Do not use gems that are late game(black dragons etc.). Try to use cheap gems that give good bonuses like shining gems. They are pretty cheap max 50k, do not buy for more than that. The nicest part about gemming it to hell and back is the ability to create a DS voyager with great EQ later on.
If you are not able to buy CA set go for the chest of evanescence set. Do not gem or modify it because it will be a waste of money.
4.3 Levels 75 and above.
Black dragon set is what I think is the best one at this level. It is not the most difficult set to get and gives pretty good stats. In some cases, you can better stick with the CA set. Depends on the roll of a dice which one you will get.
The best set for a voyager by far is the Asura set. Sometimes the Tsunami robe can have better stats but they are variable making it a gamble to spend money on.
I hope you like my first guide on PKO. It is a lot of reading I know but I hope that new voyagers can get some solid foundation to reach level 75 with. If there is any info or things that I have missed that should have been included or anything really then comment so I can edit the guide.

From level 48 onwards you either have to have a champ who will tank the mobs or use so many cakes that you will break your bank and also you will need a high-level CON fairy to level up at a nice pace.
Pros:
- Great DMG
- Faster levelling at low levels
- A lot of SP
- Very bad to go to FC and DS maze with. A crus will kill you easily with one slash before you even know it. That is if you are using the best EQ possible for level 45. Even with a CA set on level 55, a Crus will one-shot you.
- Very low HP and defence.
- Takes too much time to level up at levels 51 and beyond even if you are using spots where mobs can’t get to you. It takes too long for them to respawn, making it a mind-numbing experience.
1.4.2 Hybrid voyager - recommended
One of the most if not the most used builds in TOP2. It gives a good mix of fast levelling and defence. It is a solid build with a good balance of attack and defence. The ratio is 2 SPR to 1 CON.
Pros:
- Good dmg
- Good defence
- Expensive to maintain at lower levels.
- Not really good for mazing because of the amount of CON. An FC crus will one-shot you.
1.4.3 Personal take on the hybrid voyager – recommended
This style of a voyager is what you would have achieved if you made a CON voyager after rebirth, this is also the reason I made it like that. Pros:
- Good DMG
- Good defence
- Balanced attack and defence.
- The least expensive levelling until level 41. You don’t need cakes because you can one shot every mob and afterwards, your CON starts kicking in making it easy to level up.
- Bad for FC and DS without very expensive eq and high-level fairy. Crus will one shot you without that.
