Purging Policy

Our database is being filled up with tons of data, we can support it, but we prefer to optimize it and keep things to clean as possible. And so purging policy is being formulated. There is also other reason why we are purging too, can you come to think why?

Characters are subject to deletion if the following conditions are met:

• Characters below Lv41 which hasn't logged in for more than 90 days;
• Characters between Lv41 to 69 which hasn't logged in for more than 120 days;
• Character is not a Guild Leader

Guilds are naturally too subject to deletion if the following conditions are NOT met:

• Guilds with five or less members all must be active;
• Guilds with six to fourteen must have at least of 90% guild members active;
• Guilds with fifteen to twenty-five must have at least 80% guild members active;
• Guild Leader has logged in last 31 days

Note:

• Characters above Lv 70 will never be deleted, they are immune to any purging policy.
• Guilds are notoriously known to be taken up by people who intend to waste guild slots or flood economy with useless guilds for various reasons; and so it is guild leaders responsibility to maintain their guilds to maximum activity and leader their self must be capable to maintain guild which means leaders who don't bother actively playing PKO will have their guild dismissed.
• An active guild member consist of character's last login does not exceed 31 days.
• 90%/80% is rounded down, not up.

This policy is set to be in effective some time shortly, when it's ready to be added to server, expect a news headline for final warning before the purging begins purging. The purge will be ran every time server restarts.

Can the lv41-69 be extended to 365 days, a player taking 4 months off does not seem unreasonable to me and more then a few players put a lot of money and time into their DS, FC characters.

Please reconsider it. I play every 5-6 months with my fc character in university (semester) holidays.

Kindly extend it to 1 year.

In theory, you can just login and logout instantly, it doesn't matter what play time duration but just as long you were able to successful load the character.

why don't add banned accounts to this list? it would also clean the rankings and it would put more ppl being "visible" on that lists.

As others, I think this should be extended. 180 days seems more reasonable to me.

Even a lot of email services are 270-365 days and I would think emails are used more regularly then the game client

Yes. and i am a solo player, and i dont have a friend that are playing pko to entrust my account. I hope zankza would give consideration for lv 60+
