It can't. It never did. It only gives increased experience; Mordo Jr combined the effect of both Evil Pet's exp bonus and other 2gen Fairies' stat bonus (and Fairy of Luck's crit rate bonus).

Ohh. Okay thanks!

Doesn't more skills mean faster depletion of Stamina? Yes it does. AND, faster stamina depletion will lead to faster pet leveling. You may say that having a pet with no skill will allow you to have your pet around for a longer period of time, but your pet's leveling time will also decrease, wouldn't it?

As far as my observation and knowledge. the energy consumed by the skills wont fasten your pet lvling. It is merely a cost for the skill and not affecting to growth at all. the cost use a kind-of counter system, like, example for berserk skill, for every 10hit crit by berserk cost 1 energy, something like that. (thats why voy consume super lot of energy because it has two dmg skill affected by magic skill, conch ray is very fast cooldown [drained by magic] and consume much sp[drained by medi])

for lv27fairy and lower, simple math, 1growth=60secs. the growth bar will increase linearly to fairy level until it is capped at 6480 growth bar.
for lv28 to 41, the growth cap remain the same (6480), but it takes longer to get growth. 1growth ≠ 60secs. I forgot the increments but it increase linearly to the pet lvl.

additional tips.: std skill has better effect and also cost energy less than novice. example novice magic gives 5% dmg increase with cost 10magic/energy, the std gives 7.5% dmg increase with cost 13magic/energy (dmg increase info is real. the cost info is made up).

When I marry the pets would it deplete also the growth bar?

Question : if you have both Lv25+ fairy of hope it can be used as a partner? or it should be 2 different 1st gen pet/fairy? (im confuse)

Thanks in advance.

They are set to 4 levels below where they were and their growth is set at 240. So it's generally smarter to marry the pets when they're both on 0 growth, any excess growth is just wasted.

You can use any combination of 1st Gen pets, they don't have to be 2 with the same name, but they can be too.

Yeah you can use any type of pet to marry, their type of pet are determined by what type of demonic fruit you used.
"Langa" don't discriminate gay marriage either

Cool.. Thanks

Damn. Learned it the painful way. Married 2 lv39 pets with 70 and 50% growth respectively... it became 240 growth sad life. Wasted time and rations. Hahahaha

Question : If i have lv29 fairy of Hope and a Lv25 fairy of Hope also.
It can be use for pet marriage or it should be same level?

Im still confuse.

Thanks in advance.

You can marry them even if they are from different levels. But the rates of getting better Fairy Possessions is better if both are above 27, so I recommend to wait the fairy lv 25 gets 27.

What is the difference about a pet and a 2nd gen pet? it just make your pet look nice?

~ Second Generation Pets
n1664.gif

Second Generation pets are those cool pets that you can get by marrying 2 normal pets you've got from fairy boxes. They look as the image shown above.

There are 8 types of second generation pets, which are shown in this table:

NOTE: Any of the Demonic Fruits can be bought from Item Mall for some rums, or you can buy them from other players.

n1652.gif

x0018.gif

Requirements:

-Both fairies must be level 20 or higher
-Pet's stamina bar must be full
-You should have the item requierements in your inventory for pets marriage
-Gold (it isn't a lot)

How to marry your pets:
-Go to Shaitan City NPC Langa (852,3549)
-Select the "Fairy Marriage" option
-Make sure to have all of the requierement items for your second generation pet
-Drag the fruit into it's correct place (the kind of fruit depends on what pet you're attempting to get)
-Drag both of your fairies to their places
-Confirm the screen that pops up and a new pet will appear in your inventory together with a Possesion Skill and a Self-destruction Skill.

Effects after marriage:

-Both fairies lose 4 levels each (This means, if they both were level 20 pets, both of em will be level 16 after marriage)
-The newborn second generation fairy will be 1/8 of the sum of both of the parents' levels. (Example: 2 lvl 30 pet [30+30=60/8] will give you a level 7 second generation pet)

To be able to use the pet skills:
-Fairy must be a second generation one
-Fairy must have a minimum of 100 stamina

~ Possesion Skill Book ("Poss")
n1490.gif

Once you marry pets, as I've stated earlier, will make you get one of these books. This book gives your character, NOT your fairy, the skill named "Fairy Body" (doesn't need skill points and it's saved in the Navigation Skills tab in your skills.

There are 3 levels of this skill: Novice, Standard and Expert.

One of the perks of having a second generation fairy is that, whenever you have it equipped, your character can use the Possesion skill.

What does it do? Your character begins glowing below it's feet with shiny colors, depending on fairy type. For example there's Mordo Jr, which Poss is purple. Fairy of Spirit will have a green Poss, and Fairy of Strenght will have a yellow Possesion and so on.

Along with this, your character will get up to 3 minutes of an extra stat coming from the fairy (unless it dies before the 3 minutes lapse has ended). However your pet DOES NOT increase it's level. This extra stat will depend on your fairy's type. Example:

Fairy of Strenght level 20, when you use Fairy Body (Possesion) it will give you +20 Str extra, no matter which stat it naturally has.

What does this mean? That the name "Fairy of Strenght" is not just a name. Same thing occurs with all of the other second generation pets such asFairy of Accurasy, Spirit, Constitution, etc.

Having this in mind, is the possibility of having a pet which type does not match its stats. It is possible to have a Fairy of Strenght level 20 which is all leveled up to Con. When you apply Poss to this one pet, you will get +20 str from this pet, but still will naturally have it's 20 con.

However Fairy of Evil, Fairy of Luck and Mordo Jr are different, since their natural stat will always be doubled during poss + it will trigger an special effect for each one of them:

Fairy of Evil = Double stats + Extra EXP rate (Formula: level of pet * 2% of EXP added. This means a level 30 Fairy of Evil will increase your EXP to x1.6 in Poss)
Fairy of Luck= Double stats + Extra Drop rate (Formula: level of pet * 2% of Drop added. This means a level 30 Fairy of Luck will increase your Drop rate to x1.6 in Poss)
Mordo Jr. = Double stats + Extra Drop rate + Extra EXP rate (it will give you BOTH of the effects exactly as explained above)

~ The costs of Poss
n1444.gif
n1723.gif

The only hard part about Poss is it's cost.
The usage of the Poss skill will cost you (every time you use it) some fairy stamina.

Novice Possesion: Level of pet * 6 stamina (Example: level 30 pet will use 180 stamina per Poss usage)
Standard Possesion: Level of pet * 3 stamina (Example: level 30 pet will use 90 stamina per Poss usage)
Expert Possesion: Level of pet * 2 stamina (Example: level 30 pet will use 60 stamina per Poss usage)

~ Percentages of getting Poss skill book
n1490.gif

When you marry your 2 pets, you have the following chances of getting the Poss skill book from these levels:

2 fairy Lvl 20 ~ 25
85% Novice Possession
12% Standard Possession
3% Expert Possession

2 fairy Lvl 26 ~ 35
90% Standard Possession
10% Expert Possession

2 fairy Lvl 36+
100% Expert Possession
You stated here that the more the pet learned skills, the faster the depletion of stamina but faster pet leveling right? My question is, does this only applied to the skills you mention above? OR can i use life skills for pet like novice manu, cooking, crafting and etc? Thanks in advance senpaaiiss! :p:p:p

I'm not sure if more skills means higher depletion as it says in the guide, though I can't say I personally tested it.

If it is true, I don't see why they wouldn't, they occupy a skill slot for the fairy and probably function the same as well.

if i made my pet lv 40 it cant go higher level? so it must be lv 39 > 41? please clarify me
