Heyya guys! Today i came up with an idea, for "titles" or "achivments, displayable over head as a title"

This could just as simple be some coloured text, thats viewable behind/over/or beside the character name, depending on how the GM/dev chooses to have it sorted out.

Okay, so here's how i thought it "could" work out, so basicly, you could earn some sort of "achivments in-game by doing diffrrent things, such as killing hard/special bosses, eliminating a x amouth of number of enemies/players/monsters, or just complete a certain amouth of quests, or maybe as simple, as just having an certain amouth of gold.

Ok, so how would this work out practicaly?

Well, What if these "achivments", you earn, applies as a title bonus, to your forum account (not viewable) but a specific section on your private forum profile, that would be connected to you're game account, and would attach it there, that could have been an option.

Option 2, these achivments just gets attahced directly to the character ascosiated with the "achivment" done, that would be elible to have this achivment title on them

Well, Spidpex, wouldn't it be pretty unfair, if OP people can get good achivments and get some good stats out of it?

Absolutly not, the best thing, would be to just not have any stats on these achivments at all, just a name for each one of them (there could have been made an entire new tab, dedicated just for achivments, beside the yellow stat icon on the bottom corner of the screen)

So, all in all, It would have been pretty cool to see an addition of something simular to this, as players would have an extra challange upon them, to obtain as many achivments as they can, (maybe even each achivment could give achivment points, so it would add up a total of achivment points, under your character stat menu window)

But yea, the idea might not even work out, but hey, it's just a suggestion :P

Whacha think guys?

We have hall of fame page that adjoints the honors on pirates system, it'll track and record accomplishments. Sorry I'm not really into placing badges or weird things above character.

I remember there was a system like this for sacred war and certain chains of quests in some havens (not sure if theyre still available). You'd receive a necklace item that you could wear or take off whenever you wanted and the name would appear before the char name in a parenthesis.

I remember having one named "Scout" and a friend had one named "Admiral" or something like that xD

Not really over the character, just over the name of the character, doesnt need to be something super fancy either ;P

It was a ToP 2 feature.

As for the general idea, it's cool, because it's not flashy, it's simple and something like the Sacred War titles had clear milestones which people would have to reach and they'd be rewarded/"ranked" appropriately.

Though I remember that there was a limit to how many characters could be put in that Title, longer Titles like the 2nd Sacred War one (Special Operative Private?) would simply be cut off and "Special Operative P" didn't look too aesthetically pleasing.
Besides that, the one big problem with them is the fact that they occupy the Necklace slot and nobody would want to wear a statless necklace, for obvious reasons.
