[Question] How to make PKO to use my laptop dedicated graphics card?

Hi,

I'm using my laptop to play PKO but PKO is always using my integrated graphics card which I will get lag when in a big mazes like BD and ABBA. I've researched for days but still doesn't work for me.

I've added Game.exe of PKO in NVIDIA Control Panel.

This is Image of my GPUs:
GPU 0 - Integrated Graphics Card
GPU 1 - Dedicated Graphics Card

When I open the launcher, it is using my dedicated graphics card: Image of PKO Launcher
After that the GPU switches to integrated graphics card when I clicked on Start Game: Image of PKO Game

Hello,

Is this lag that you mention related to frame drop? or animation?

Regarding that GPU switching after starting the game, since you're having 2 GPU's available, you may try to disable the intigrated one from the device manager tab (make sure that your monitor is toggled to use your dedicated gpu before you disable the internal one)

Do you have any link for that? I'm afraid I research the wrong one and make my display gone.
Or you can teach me on how to know if monitor is toggled to use dedicated gpu?

Hi,

Is PKO Game.exe Processor Affinity causing the game lagging?
Because on my PC is all checked by default but on my laptop only one is checked

Hello Kenny,

That shouldn't cause problems, since PKO is not optimized to run on more than one core.

But what about others than abba? have you encountered the bug in CA, or just normal play?

Hi, mazes like CA and DW are smooth, no lagging experience
