Wtf do you want to achieve on the server?
if you guys want to kill it you are doing a awesome job
according to the servers managment hex was never ment to be every week
yes it was and it kept the community alive wheter you want to hear that or not it doesnt mather
the only reason you guys disabled it is to earn more monney, but the problem with that is new players quiting no one is gonna spend hunderts of dollars just to lvl up
on top of that original top had double exp every weekend
you guys even fixed high amps ...super lucky strike on this server is 4x exp not 10 times the way it should be
you guys make a server worse then the original top and dont even care why the game is just dying
So to every new player lvling here is worse then original top things like hex and the boat race wich are just part of the game are dissabled and my post will be deleted as soon as they see it
And btw what kind of bullshit was the black friday sale???
imagine going to a shop and when someone just bought a tv you would have to wait 2hours to buy a tv what woulmd happen to that store?
it would go banckrupt ...the way you guys manage the server is gonna haver the same effect its dying good job ! and this is 100% the truth about this crappy managed server with only 1 thing in mind ...Dollars

I was going to ignore this post, but for the sake of everyone listening to your words, I will take my time to answer all your concerns.

First of all, understand that we are Pirate King Online. Not Tales of Pirates by IGG. We are not trying to be Tales of Pirates, we aim to provide the balanced, hardcore, vanilla experience that nowadays MMORPG lack.

With that out of the way, let's get to your arguments:

1- During the first year(s) of a server, hexathlon is intended to be only an event. Something special to allow players to get some experience without much effort. It is not supposed to be used as the only way to level up. As I said before, PKO is a hardcore game that is based on grinding and working off. Once the server gets older, we enable Hexa every weekend to allow new players to catch up faster to the older players. It was always intended to be like this.

2- The goal of PKO is not to maximize profit, but to revive the oldschool MMORPG experience. If our goal, as you say, is to make as much money as possible, we would sell gems, equips, maxed chars, etc... on item mall. The best equips would then only be obtainable by malling. But as you can see, this is not the case. Almost everything that is obtainable in mall, can also be obtainable in-game without spending a dime. There are few exceptions to this, like rations. This is because we need to ensure funding to keep our servers running and the staff paid.

3. As I said in my first point: We don't care what Tales of Pirates did. If we made every weekend 2x exp, players would only level up on the weekend. That is not our vision. 2x Exp is only avaliable during event, as a way to motivate players to level up more. If it happened every weekend, it wouldn't be special at all.

4. We didn't change anything on Hi-Amps. I understand that maths and reading comprehension isn't for everyone, so let me explain this to you:

Hi Amps multiply the normal experience by 2.5.
So if a Monster gives you 100 experience when you kill it without hi amp, it will give you 250 experience while on hi amp.

Now, when you get a super lucky strike, the hi amp multiplies the normal experience you gain by 10, instead of the normal hi amp 2.5.
So if a Monster gives you 100 experience when you kill it without hi amp, it will give you 1000 experience when you get a super lucky strike.

Your misunderstanding is that you think that the super lucky strike multiplies your already enhanced experience (2.5 experience) by 10. This would imply a x25 experience multipication. That is not what happens.

If we divide 10 by 2.5, you get the 4x exp you claim our supposedly nerfed super lucky strike gives.

5. We set timers on all of our sales (Black Friday/Flash/etc.). The reason for this, is to enable players from different zones to get a chance of grabbing some discounted goodies as well. As you might have noticed, we only sell limited quantities of each item. If we were to disable the cooldown time, players who are not able to log in during the start of the sale, end up having no chance of getting discounted goodies. That would be unfair.

I hope the 10 minutes I invested writing this won't go to waste.
If you happen to not understand something, feel free to contact me, and I will gladly explain it to you again.

Have a good day,
Yata
