I doubt this will ever be changed but I would like to point out how nerfed Champions below lv 70 are hit rate wise. As you all know champions don't really have a class based glove or shoe past the lv 45 and all until the lv 70. Shoes aren't that big of a problem because dodge never mattered for champs so good stat
Strong Greaves
or
Chaos Pawstone
work well.
But when you are stuck with
Strong Gauntlets
until lv 70 your hit rate is severely cripped as opposed to crusader's having several mid level gloves like
Gauntlets of the Kylin
with 22 higher hit rate at lv 60.
So either:
1. Give champs a class based glove with bonus stats possibly in eva or enigma chest
or
2. Give champs the ability to farm regular mid level gloves with random stats
