Hello, I'd like point out two things about guild system.

  1. During first thirty days, Guild creation is barred. This means you will be not able to create guild, albeit no recruitment or apply can be done. This is done primarily because during newly created server have fluctuations everywhere and by all means encourage players to bring their friends and harness the "party" functions to max.
  2. Depending on proven server activity level as observed in first thirty days We may consider changing the guild slots to accommodate appropriate server activity level, this means both, the total amount of guild and total amount of members in guild is subjectable to adjustment. Nothing is final or written, but we'll be closely observing and consider community's vibe.

I think that the x0.5 exp starting from lvl 70 is enough... Taking off one of the most interesting feature for team work will ruin the fun for sure.

You don't need guild to do team work.
 
I know what it means. I explained how I understood it. Maybe I got it wrong. @Zankza what you wanted to say with that?

Don't know why my previous posts got flagged as agressive, but I would KINDLY ask you to explain what this sentence means as I do not understand it.

please, zankza, reconsider this guild restriction... if you take guild away you favor only the players who came with many friends (imagine Disney monopoly, they could coordinate themselves even without guild, but most players can't) and you take away the fun pk at the start of the game too... it will already be really hard to do things, at least let us coordinate properly... I can agree if you make guilds able to house only 10 or 15 players, but taking guilds is not a TOP thing... You said vanilla, and vanilla has guilds for god sake!

You have a good point. A vanilla server is supposed to have the basic features, the guild creation included. Good teams will be able to co-ordinate with or without guilds and thus, this, may backfire. I hope that you can reconsider this matter.
 
Zankza, do you remenber how, at one point, Round Table was starting to put up a fight against Disney and you made guilds only able to house 8 players? Do you remenber it hurt much more the weaker guild than the strongest?

Maybe making guilds of 15 members could be the best. I understand the server is not expected to have 3 or 4 guilds of 80 people fighting, but mayne 2 or 3 of 15 is posible... as i said mayne even 10 members at first, but allow guilds... otherwise we will have nothing to do in the server but mall, since we wont be able to boss in dw, wont be able to survive CA, wont go to abbadon, wont do bd, wont have pretty much anything but enigmas, fortune tree, nss and language barrier to farm... guilds are the essence of the game. Taking them from us is killing the server before starting it... as you said, the game is meant to be played with friends!!

Now, going off topic a bit, but consider giving non mallers a way to keep up with mallers, like credits for rations, pets, some ugly apparels and tickets... It is crucial for the game health... i know you went a little too much to the opposite side on foxlv, where malling was too weak and farming too hard, but a full pay to win also isn't the best... we need balance.

I agree on guilds beeing available from start. I really don't see a point on not having them. Will just make bigger gaps between good players and bad ones, as partys will be formed from good ones, while on guild people often accept weaker players aswell.

About mall.. It's pretty much perfect. Non-mallers don't need apparels. They are luxury items. Noone will strengthen apparel unless they get atleast uns65, and that will take quite a time. I however do agree that some way to get normal pet fruits and maybe few rations could be implemented.
 
apparels are mostly luxury itens, but not in this server. CA frames and Paws will be some of the best equipment for some classes and they shouldn't be "restricted" to mallers.

They wont be. You can always farm in-game gold and buy rum from mallers. That's how it always was in ToP. In meantime, I agree, that 1-2 apparels should be available via award center,aswell as some rations, standard pet fruits. Sadly, Zankza won't implement award center for time beeing. Maybe it could be added later on, but it wont be there at start of server.
 
instead of making a whole new system and shop for credits, it could be made slightly similar to foxlv, on a smaller scale... maybe redeeming some rum from reputation... instead of farming 200 igsp in 2h and buying an apparel, maybe farming enough for an apparel in a week of play (considering you will focus on that and not buy many pet fruits and rations).
 
No. Award Center and Item Mall should be two different things, don't turn them into on as was the case in FoxLv.
 
Hahaha, alright, i see no problem in that, but we still need an award center badly. Ratz and pet fruits only throgh imps will turn this into a turbo version of ToP pay-to-win.
 
I'd really love to see Pet Fruit price reduced, or see them bundled in the item mall if they were to be added in the award center. Because they're quite expensive at the moment and if they're obtainable in-game, malling them seems like a waste.
 
from what i remenber when the economy was stable when i played ToP, pet fruits were always around 500k and ratz were around 2m, peaking at 3m sometimes.

Excuse me, but how is people supposed to boss "as a team" without a Guild system? What about friendly fire? There are only 5 slots by party and most of the damage dealt is aoe (voy conch rays)....
